An associate of the law firm of Chamlin, Rosen, Uliano & Witherington since 2000, Karen Schermond concentrates her practice in matrimonial law and related issues of custody, alimony, support, distribution of marital assets and domestic violence.

Ms. Schermond has been selected to speak at seminars for the Institute of Continuing Legal Education and the American Trial Lawyer's Association on issues relating to family law, practice and procedure, and has authored articles on related issues.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Schermond served as judicial law clerk to The Honorable Joseph P. Testa, Presiding Judge of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division, Family Part.

Ms. Schermond attended West Virginia University where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education. She received her Juris Doctorate degree from Villanova University School of Law and is licensed to practice law in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
