A partner in the law firm of Chamlin, Rosen, Uliano & Witherington, Mr. Bazzurro’s practice is focused mainly on Personal Injury, Employment and Insurance Litigation, Civil Rights Defense, and General Litigation matters. Mr. Bazzurro is licensed to practice law in both the State and Federal Courts in New Jersey and New York. He received his Juris Doctorate degree cum laude from Seton Hall University School of Law after receiving his Bachelor’s Degree from Wagner College. Prior to joining our firm, Mr. Bazzurro spent several years at another local Monmouth County law firm that was primarily hired by insurance companies to represent defendants in personal injury cases and other civil litigation. His practice had an emphasis on general negligence cases, motor vehicle cases, landowner liability claims, construction claims, employment discrimination claims, civil rights violation claims and CERCLA claims. His representation of these entities from the defense perspective provided him with unique insight as to how insurance companies handle claims and cases. He now uses this experience, insight and knowledge to maximize his clients’ recoveries in the various cases he now handles for our firm.

His present practice includes the representation of individuals primarily in personal injury matters including motor vehicle accidents, slips and falls, construction accidents, medical malpractice, pharmaceutical malpractice, nursing home malpractice and abuse and other general negligence type claims. However, his background also allows him to effectively represent clients in other types of general civil litigation such as employment discrimination claims, contract disputes, collection matters, Consumer Fraud cases, insurance coverage issues and the defense of claims where an individual or company did not have proper insurance coverage in place.

In addition to the above, a portion of his practice is dedicated to the representation of police officers and local towns in cases where Civil Rights violations are being asserted. He has effectively represented a number of towns in both Monmouth and Ocean Counties for the past several years.

Mr. Bazzurro’s experience also includes a judicial clerkship in the Superior Court of New Jersey for The Honorable Philip Freedman, J.S.C. and the now Federal District Court Judge Katherine Sweeney-Hayden, U.S.D.C.J. He also completed an internship with the Seton Hall Center for Social Justice in Newark, New Jersey.

He has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Freehold Township Republican Club for several years, as well as a member of the Planning Board of the Township of Freehold where he resides with his wife and two daughters.
